Lectures to the First Class, part 3 (Lectures Section)
During the re-founding of the Anthroposophical Society at Christmas 1923, Rudolf Steiner also reconstituted the “Esoteric School” which had originally functioned in Germany from 1904 until 1914, when the outset of the First World War made it's continuance impossible. However, the original school was only for a relatively few selected individuals, whereas the new school was incorporated into the School for Spiritual Science at the Goetheanum in Dornach, Switzerland. The Imagery of the Goetheanum Windows (Rel. Authors Section)
In June 1970, at the bio-dynamic farm and conference centre of Herr Wilhelm Rath at Farrach in Carinthia, Austria, a conference on the first and second Goetheanum was held. There, Wilhelm Rath showed slides of Assja Turgenieff's engravings of the coloured windows of the first Goetheanum. After speaking briefly on each window Herr Rath read the appropriate verse which he had composed as a poetic elucidation to the window in question. These verses are an attempt to express in rhythmical form what these unique works of art can convey to the beholder. Link: http://wn.rsarchive.org/RelAuthors/RathWilhelm/Imagry_index.html [...]
